St Austell Cornwall
St Austell
is a small
pleasant town in a relatively quiet part of Cornwall. This south eastern corner
of the county is quite different from the rugged North and West coasts, and the
small towns and villages are great for exploring.
One of Cornwalls biggest attractions opened in 2001, the
Eden
Project near St Austell has been a huge success.
It is worth checking the website for advice on when to visit it has been
exceptionally busy all year.
This part of South East Cornwall is
perhaps the most easily accessible area of this diverse
county, yet it is an area that is often missed as people
head for the attractions further west.
However it is a stunningly beautiful
region, with lovely small towns and villages. Looe,
Polperro and Fowey being some really picturesque towns.
This whole coast is rugged and steeped in history, with
some lovely places to stay and visit.
