Worcester Worcestershire
In The Heart of England, Worcester is
easily accessible from north, south, east and west with
its proximity to the M5. It is also an ideal centre from
which to tour the surrounding countryside. The Cathedral
dominates the city whilst the Guildhall, Commandery,
Museums and Parks are further attractions in the city.
Worcester is the birthplace of Sir Edward Elgar as well
as the home of Royal Worcester Porcelein. For sports
enthusiasts there is the Racecourse, the County Cricket
Ground and the Rugby Club.
Worcester hosts the Three
Choirs Festival every three years and is well-known for its
musical and cultural events. The city has a wide range of
shopping facilities with its pedestrianised High Street quaint
passageways and modern malls.
